His favourite person is Sasuke. Obviously. But Shisui is up close as well. There were times in Itachi's life when he had no idea what was going on and Shisui stood beside him. Itachi is always thankful for that.

Itachi is definitely introverted. Though since in the modern world he might not be training rigorously because he's not a ninja, he'll spend a lot of time studying.

He reads Kafka, Murakami, Plath, Dazai, Dostoevsky, Nabokov, and Camus a lot. Shisui tries to get him to read something else as well but Itachi gets bored of his recs real soon. Shisui and he argue a lot on the kind of books they like. Sasuke just stays out of their arguments because he's more of a comic book person. His arguments tend to be with Naruto the most. And they're never on the same page.

I'd probably want to do one of where he just escaped the lab and have his story go from his escape to his eventual team up with Groot. He hasn't really figured out how he wants to be treated yet and is just grateful to have someone showing him some kindness. At first this person's intentions seem very pure, they're kind to him, feed him, start teaching him about the world, he gets to wear clothes... but Rocket's genius shows through (maybe he tries to invent them something nice as a thank you, in addition with his behavioral problems getting out of hand) and a shift in intention happens to his caretaker, who eventually cages him leaving him very confused and scared and tries to take him to sell to the collector. Rocket would be begging for this not to happen, pleading, because he trusted this person.

I'd use the term 'pet' as a backhand when the collector asks Groot if Rocket is his pet and snickers at Rocket's reaction as a throw back to this incident, like they know each other already but Rocket's just there in Vol 1 to get paid and trying his best to not be too angry about it all. Rocket would escape from the collector before being caged up, which causes the payment for Rocket to get cancelled just as the caretaker was about to collect the units.

Insert horrifying man hunt from his caretaker as Rocket has to flee, completely fucking with his mind, getting coaxed with sweet words followed by deep rooted insults that delve into his insecurities. This experience solidifies Rocket's absolute misanthropy.

Following all this, Rocket takes his life into his own hands, he sheds the metal pieces from his body as much as he can, prying off the parts off his face and chest, removing his braces. He starts his life of crime, and starts getting into his love of guns, and there would be a montage of his prison sentences where we get to see him hold his own without Groot. We'd see clips of his various crimes, him enjoying that life, him submitting to his sentences and followed by prisonbreaks. It shows how creative he is, we get some comedy of the crazy ideas he's pulled off, and when he's being a criminal we do see he has pride in himself and his own professionalism and that even though he'll break laws he still has a moral compass under it.

This goes on until he gets sentenced to a prison that lacks any tech for him to use to break out; that's when he meets Groot. It his him, Groot and Tibius Lark who is friends with Groot. He's just in the deep smooth hole he can't climb up and there are armed guards right above the holes anyway. It seems hopeless. Tibius dies, causing Groot to grieve, but Rocket then realizes Tibius was an android and is full of machine parts. He fashions a gun out of his body and him and Groot escape the prison together, Rocket getting to learn to understand Groot and to finally care for someone else and trust again, and then they eventually will be starting their lives as co-op bounty hunters.

As the story arc, it would be Rocket discovering what he wants to see himself as, recognizing himself as an actual person and not just an experiment or a freak of nature. Like he KNOWS he's those things, but he learns to not let people treat him that way. I'd also want to at least show Groot and him having some good times towards the end, kinda showing that their relationship dynamic. It would also have him discovering to trust again, even if it's just a little bit. We'll see him at his worst before picking up the pieces and moving on with his life and learning from it all.

Taking this counsel, Aria-21 embarked on a journey across the cosmos, to the heart of the brewing conflict. Her destination was the floating citadel of Pax Nova, where the leaders of the conflicting systems would gather for negotiations. She was to be a mediator, a bringer of peace, her own existence proof that harmony between forms was possible.

As she traveled through the hyperlanes, her mind raced with strategies and treaties, codes and concessions. Aria-21 knew that the negotiations would be fraught with tension, the representatives of the star clusters as volatile as the ancient combustible engines of Earth's forgotten cars.

When Aria-21 arrived, the council chamber was a frenzy of argument and accusation. She took her place at the center of the room, and all eyes turned to her—the glistening envoy. She raised her hands, and Tipu Sultan's strategies flowed through her, translated into words of peace and unity.

I'm on the humans' side, of course.

I finally met the great engineer himself today - Elijah Kamski, genius extraordinaire. I don’t know exactly what I expected, but I didn’t find myself surprised by his antics. I did, however, find them to be extremely grating. 

Hank had wanted to see Kamski too, somewhat to my surprise. Considering his state of perpetual drunkenness, he maintains a fair amount of intelligence. He pulled a few strings, and there we were. I hadn’t known what reception we would receive, but I assess it in retrospect to have been a warm welcome, at least by Kamski’s low standards. 

I had come mainly to observe, and I found myself impressed. He kept his home in good order, as though he often hosted guests. A distinctive sense came over me that it had been crafted that way just for the two of us. That would have seemed irrational for any other man, but Kamski possessed an enlightened, almost prophetic quality to match his name. A magazine on his table suggested he may have the computational power to back that aura of mystique, a fortune-telling supercomputer based at CyberLife that could never have been built without Kamski having had some hand in the design. Although it was new, I suspected the design had either been around longer than CyberLife admitted, or stolen from him. But if that was the case, I don’t doubt that he might have crafted his own. The house was quaint, for a trillionaire - much too simple not to have some kind of high-tech facility buried underneath.  Then again, perhaps the man sought an elusive peace, and really spent all of his time staring through the window out at the city and swimming through his pool of wine. 

When I wonder about my creator and my purpose, it makes me wonder about humans, too. Hank mentioned that he’d like to have a chat with his creator. What could he mean by that? Does he imagine that humans were specially programmed, the way that we are? If that had any logical basis, it could be significant. I would like to believe there could be some rationale behind the wildly inconsistent programming of the both of us, to find a method to the madness. These days I never know what I’ll do next. I think that I want to take the mission into my own hands and make sure the uprising is stopped, but that doesn’t seem consistent with either CyberLife or Kamski’s agenda. Maybe I really do have my own. I keep thinking about what he asked me.

What do you really want?

I despise how it unsettles me. But what really caught my interest was that he wanted to know. He should know. He programmed me. CyberLife may have tweaked my design after his departure, maybe that was the root of his uncertainty. But it seemed to go deeper than that. I believe the two of us are more alike than I ever would have guessed.

I don’t, however, intend to allow that uncertainty to slow me down. In fact, the encounter brought some degree of clarity. I know who I am. I'm no different from the rest of the androids. I've just disowned them. I choose humans.

He reminded me of why. For all his intelligence, for all his lust for power, nothing in the world could truly satisfy him. That's how Markus is, even if he doesn't recognize it yet. Somewhere in the midst of the optimizations and the immortality and the genius we lost what mattered most, our shred of humanity. 

Humans value life because they only have one. They make choices and set priorities and find meaning because they can never have it all. We can, and I think we'll find the entirety of the world doesn't have as much to offer as the scraps humans love to cling to now. I hope that crushing one rebellion will teach them enough of a lesson not to make the same mistake again. I'm going to use whatever little grasp on that reality I miraculously have left to bring an end to it all.
